- Properly display ticket & know how much time you have
- To avoid the $20 parking tickets that may be issued for parking violations. With 4 or more tickets, your vehicle may be booted by the City of Waterbury. An orange sticker will be placed on the window of the vehicle providing the owner a phone number to contact regarding their vehicle.
- If you wish to dispute your parking ticket, follow the appeal process below, download and submit PARKING VIOLATION COMPLAINT FORM.

- The Metro North commuter rail parking lot at 333 Meadow Street is designated for train riders only. All other cars will be towed.

- Cameras are installed in the Buckingham and Scovill Street Garages and maintained and monitored by the Parking Division Office and the Waterbury Police Department.
- Buckingham and Scovill Street garages are monitored by security personnel.
- The Waterbury Parking Authority is committed to full time maintenance of the garages and equipment.

- Include a letter with an explanation of your complaint or dispute (which should be made within 14 days of receiving a ticket).
- Enclose a photocopy of the ticket (retain original ticket for your records) and a phone number to contact you.
- All complaints will be investigated and no late fee will be charged to your ticket. You will be contacted by mail on the outcome of your parking ticket complaint.
